Environmental Improvement (project continue from June)

SKT along with Wat Phraya Yang School, the Traffic and Transportation Department, Bangkok Metropolitan Authority, and the Ratchathewi District plan to modify the locations where children and pedestrians are most at risk for pedestrian injury in areas surrounding Wat Phraya Yang School.  The areas identified as the three posing the biggest risk to pedestrians at Wat Phraya Yang School and and complete modified 2 risk of them.

Problems

1.Without parking space, after school the road in front of school will be congested with motorcycles. This is likely to cause traffic injuries among the students travelling by motorcycle.

2.The footbridge in front of school found different levels between its platform and the footpath. This is likely to cause traffic injuries to the students and pedestrians.
